ABOUT US

Welcome to Southern Cross Labradoodles, a home-based breeding facility of Australian Labradoodles located in Louisiana. Australian Labradoodles have become know worldwide for their highly intelligent and gentle nature along with their low to non-shedding, allergy friendly coats. My name is Becky Roth. My husband, Jim, and I traveled to Australia to hand pick our foundation breeding stock. We visited both Tegan Park and

Rutland Manor who are the developers of the Australian Labradoodles. We saw many beautiful dogs but none them impressed us like Ariel. She was romping in a large pen with many other females. Her grace, beautiful wavy fleece coat and outstanding conformation took our breath away.

Ariel has not disappointed us. Her pups are magnificent and now her daughters Rosie, Belle, Lagniappe and grandaughters Caviar and Syndey have joined our breeding program.

Jim and I are both elementary school teachers. We have dedicated our lives to observing, nuturing and fostering the development of children and we bring that same compassion and love to our breeding program. All our labradoodles are raised in our home, in a family atmosphere, with attention given to the highest of standards. When they are not taking care of their puppies, our dogs go to school with me. They love spending recess on the playground with the students.

The students had a parade and their theme was favorite school memory.

Kritta and I have been immortalized!!!

Our puppies are bred to be family companions and we are dedicated to providing both them and their adoptive families with a very special relationship. Please browse through our web site and contact us if you would like to know more.
